John Cook Goldsmiths started trading in Bedford in 1979 after it's founder John Cook, who had previously worked for Harrods in London and County Jewellers, John Bull and Millmans in Bedford, decided to set up on his own. He started at 32 Grove Place Bedford, then in 1983, he moved to the other end of the street where the shop still remains today. He was joined by his son Eddie in 1997 who has now taken over the day to day running of the business. Using state of the art 3d printers, laser machines and casting equipment, John Cook Goldsmiths offers you a prompt, reliable and professional bespoke Jewellery & Jewellery repair service, all carried out on the premises. At 85 years young, John still pops in two or three times a week to help out in the workshop as well, which continues to keep John Cook Goldsmiths a real family business.
